Dear
Fellow Maryland "Computer Service" Provider,
The ease with
which computer services can be provided by out-of-state competitors
certainly was underestimated in the Maryland Assembly's decision to
impose a 6% tax on computer services.
If we do not repeal the computer services tax, IT
work will move out of state, harming our companies, our employees,
and our families.
The stakes are too great simply to rely on
others to fix this problem. Our technology councils and chambers of commerce
need our help! We
MUST contribute to this effort -- personally and passionately -- or it won't succeed!
Other business owners and I have contributed time,
technology and cash,
hiring one of the best lobbying teams in the state and other talent
crucial for a win. But this fight for our livelihoods and
Maryland's future requires even more resources.
Join us. Contribute. So we may ensure
that ALL our legislators understand computer services must remain tax free. Stroke a check for your
future! Contact me now!
